Dale Coyne Racing announced on Wednesday that AI-driven business askROI will be the main sponsor of the #18 entry for the 2025 IndyCar season.

Piloted by Rinus VeeKay, the car will sport a largely white livery with blue accents and askROI’s mascot robot adorning the side pods and front wing.

The sponsorship, which will cover all 17 races of the 2025 season, will help bring critical funding to DCR at a time when costs are climbing on account of the series’ new hybrid system as well as other factors.

“As a small business, partnering with askROI is pivotal,” said team owner Dale Coyne. “askROI is specifically designed for companies like ours that need an AI partner to compete with larger organizations.

“Their support gives us a secret weapon to punch above our weight which makes us competitive on the racetrack and in business. With Rinus VeeKay behind the wheel, and askROI’s support, we are ready to tackle the season head-on.”

Todd Ault, Chairman and CEO of askROI, is not a new name in the IndyCar paddock.

Ault and his companies have been a major sponsor with Ed Carpenter Racing in recent years, beginning their relationship in 2022.

The BitNile and askROI brands adorned ECR’s entries for three seasons with a large presence, but the two parted ways at the end of 2024.

Now Ault and askROI are sponsoring VeeKay’s entry as he also shifts over the DCR for the upcoming season, bringing critical funding into the relatively small race team.

DCR’s other entry, the #51 entry piloted by rookie Jacob Abel, will be sponsored by Abel Construction.

The new sponsorships will be seen on track for the first time in a matter of days, with the season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg taking place this weekend.
